We are so excited to get the year started. We hope to see everyone Monday night. Elementary has "Meet the Teacher" at 5 p.m. There will be an informational meeting for Incoming Freshmen Monday at 5:30 p.m. in the cafeteria. The Secondary will have "Meet the Teacher" at 6 p.m. Students will be able to get their schedule at that time. Of course we will have "Meet The Bulldogs" at 7 p.m. The first day of school is Wednesday 8/13. It is going to be a GREAT year.

All returning students must fill out online registration in the parent portal before the school begins. If you need a portal ID number, contact the elementary office. Class lists will be posted today, August 8th at 4:00pm on the elementary office window.

Parent Portal Registration is open! Everyone must register before the start of the school year. Contact the campus offices if you need any assistance.

There will be an informational meeting for incoming 7th graders Tuesday at 6 p.m. in the Junior High Cafeteria.

Seniors and Senior Parents-Please join us Monday at 6 p.m. in the cafeteria for good information about your upcoming Senior year.

Both gyms on the Miles ISD campus will be closed Monday, July 28 - Wednesday, July 30 as the floors are being waxed.

Mr. McKneely will be headed to South Korea to present at the Chungcheongnam-do International Conference in Future Education in Dankook University Cheonan Campus, Korea. Miles ISD is extremely proud of Mr. McKneely and look forward to hearing about this once in a lifetime opportunity!

We are currently doing some work on the football field. We have sanded the field in hopes of leveling it out. If you need to use a field, please use the practice/track field. Thank you for your cooperation. Ty Stevens

Miles ISD will hold Board Elections on November 4, 2025. There will be two positions up for election. Applications can be obtained at Miles ISD Administrative Office or email Natalee Churchill at natalee.churchill@milesisd.net.

We have one week to go! Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday we will have a modified schedule that will include Finals each day. On Tuesday and Wednesday High School students that are exempt from finals will report to the gym from 8:00-10:00. State Law requires that students be on campus for at least two hours to get attendance credit. Of course attendance rates are very important for the funding we receive from the State. Wednesday will be the annual Senior vs. Staff Softball game in the afternoon. Thursday will be the NHS Induction/Awards Assembly, followed by an early release. Parents please make sure that your child's lunch account is paid in full. All Chromebooks should be returned with the case and charger. Report cards will be mailed the last week of May, but will not be mailed if the student owes fines.
