Senior Kate Hohensee Places 1st in FCCLA Nationals in Digital Stories for Change Level 3
The FCCLA National Leadership Conference took place in Orlando, Florida on July 5-10, 2025. The annual event united over 10,000 FCCLA student members, advisors, and guests from across the country.
Centered on the inspiring theme "Dare to Dream," attendees took part in speaker sessions, workshops, and national level competitions.
Hohensee's digital story "Mind Matters" focused on addressing the mental health crisis in her agricultural community in Tom Green County, Texas. After compiling her research and data, her story was shared with at least 25,000 people with the help of the Texas Department of Agriculture, the national AgriSafe Network, and local newspaper, radio, and events.
