Miles Junior High & High School Parents-Don't forget our Meet the Teacher Event is happening Thursday 8/17 from 6-7:30. Students will be able to pick up their schedules.
7th-8th Grade students will report to the cafeteria. 9th-10th grade students will come in the front door and take the main hall (right) towards the Band hall. 11th-12th Grade students will come in the front door and take the hall (left) towards the gym.
Along with their schedules, students will receive their "Technology Acceptable Use" agreement. The JH/HS is going to a true "One to One" technology system. Both Students and parents must sign the agreement before the Chromebooks are issued to the students. Chrome Books will be issued the first week of school.
All Elementary Parents: If you have not already done so, please create a Parent Portal account and choose: Link an enrolled student – there are REQUIRED registration forms to fill out on the Parent Portal – You must use the same email you have on file with your child’s information. We're going to Europe Summer 2024! We will have another parent meeting to inform you about the trip to Europe and give our incoming 9th-12th graders a chance to signup! August 31st at 5pm is the meeting in the JH/HS cafeteria!

MILES BULLDOG FOOTBALL
We will hand out equipment to all high school football players from 8:00am to 9:30am beginning Tuesday, July 25th and continuing through Thursday, July 27th.
Practice Schedule for Week 1-3:
Monday, July 31—report at 5:30am practice begins at 6:30am
Aug. 1-4 — report before 6:00am practice begins at 6:30
Week 2 — report 6:00am on Monday and Tuesday, report at 5:30am on Wednesday and Thursday. Friday scrimmage in Miles
Week 3 — Report at 5:30am all week for 6:00am practice. Scrimmage Friday in Iraan

Miles ISD Board Election Information 2023
LAST WEEK! We have one last week, before summer. Students will clean out their lockers on Monday. We have exams on Tuesday and Wednesday. For the students that are exempt they must sign in by 9:00. Grades 9-11 may leave but parents must email or send a written note to check their child out. Email amy.mejia@milesisd.net. Thursday is High School Awards and then early release. Sophomores will help set up for Graduation after the awards and Seniors will have Graduation practice at 1:30. Friday is Graduation. Seniors only need to be in the library by 6:30. The doors to the gym will open at 6:30. Each Senior will get 10 floor tickets, but the bleachers will be open seating.
