Due to the icy road conditions on bridges and overpasses and continued precipitation and freezing temperatures, Miles ISD will remain closed Wednesday, February 1st. We will have a 10am start on Thursday, February 2nd, and buses will run hours late. Please stay warm and safe!

Miles ISD is seeking a candidate to join our cafeteria team. Candidate must be able to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects (i.e. boxes). Hours are 6:30 AM to 2:00 PM. We work the days that the students are here, plus a few more. To apply go to milesisd.net, click on administration, and then on employment opportunities. Click on the support and services application and email Kathy Glass, Kathy.glass@milesisd.net. The successful candidate will have to complete a background check and be finger printed. Pay will depend upon experience in like positions.

Just one week until Christmas Break, but it is a big one. Students will have exams on Wednesday and Thursday. Basketball on Tuesday and Thursday. On Friday, the students will take a school safety survey, a fire drill and finish the day with a little fun. We also want to say thanks for the donated microwaves.
