Band Concert 3:00 Sunday (grades 7-12). Students arrive at 2:30 (band hall), Performances will be in the auditorium. Come hear the Award winning UIL concert songs, an original song composed by our 7th graders, and a special treat for May the 4th!

It will be a big week. We have Senior Signing Day Monday at 1 p.m. and the Athletic Banquet at 6:30 p.m. We will have a send-off Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. for Regional Tennis. Good luck to the tennis team. Thursday morning at 8:00 a.m. will be the Junior High Awards Assembly. There is much more in the Weekly. Of course, there is no school on Friday. Enjoy the weekend.

The Texas Education Agency released the 2022-23 Accountability Ratings today, April 24, 2025. Miles ISD has been rated an "A". I am extremely proud of our students and teachers who have worked hard for this A designation. Ty Stevens

Elementary Dismissal Procedures Reminder: We appreciate your continued cooperation in making dismissal safe and efficient for everyone. As a reminder: Dismissal typically takes no more than 15 minutes. 10th Street is a one-way street during school hours. Please enter the parking lot through 10th Street or Sycamore Street only. Do not use the exit as an entrance, and please refrain from cutting in line—let’s all be courteous and patient. The curb is the safest and most appropriate place to pick up your child. Thank you to all who consistently follow these procedures. Your support helps us keep our students safe and our traffic flowing smoothly!

There is one day of testing this week for 8th grade Science and Biology. We will have a send off for Academic UIL going to Regionals Thursday at 9:30. As we get close to the end of the year, lunch accounts need to be paid and make sure that the correct mailing address is shown in Parent Portal. Final report cards will be mailed out.

Find time this week to check your student portal. The end of the year is closing in quick and everyone is very busy. Solving small issues now, prevents bigger issues later. We have one day of testing this week in History. There will be an early release Thursday and a holiday on Friday.

**REMINDER** Sign-ups for Battle of Landon games closes on Monday, April 14. Payment is due Wednesday, April 16. NO PAY, NO PLAY!

Fundraiser Item Pickup Information: The items from our Elementary Fundraiser have arrived! Orders can be picked up on Friday, April 11th, from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the school. If you’re unable to make it during that time, please contact the elementary office to arrange an alternative pickup. Thanks to your incredible support, we raised over $5,000 for our activity fund! These funds will directly benefit our students and staff by helping us purchase awards and prizes for the end-of-year celebrations and materials for our award assemblies. Additionally, we’ll be using part of the funds to support our amazing teachers. We are so grateful for your continued support!
