Tuesday will start the 5th Six-Weeks and report cards will be issued on Wednesday. We are moving into a very busy season. Please encourage your students to stay on top of their assignments and check their portal often.

We will see you on Tuesday, February 17th. Have a good and safe weekend.
Mrs. Brock has demonstrated tremendous leadership throughout her tenure as an educator. Over the course of her career, she has served as a classroom teacher, High School Principal, and Special Programs Director. These roles have helped shape her into an influential and respected leader within Miles ISD.
She has been instrumental in implementing the Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA), Strategic Compensation, and has served as PEIMS Coordinator and District Testing Coordinator. In addition, she has provided vital leadership in Special Programs, including Section 504 and ESL, among many other areas.
While her professional experience is extensive, Mrs. Brock’s greatest strengths are her character and leadership style. She is a forward-thinking leader who exemplifies servant leadership, the very quality we seek in all Miles ISD employees. Her commitment to students, staff, and the community will continue to play a key role in making Miles ISD one of the best places to work in the region and in the state.
Congratulations, Mrs. Brock, on your well-deserved promotion to Assistant Superintendent of Miles ISD!

Secondary Weekly-
Congratulations to our Runnels County Register Student of the Week: Weston Beck. Weston was chosen by staff members because he exemplifies the monthly character trait of Respect and Courtesy.
Next week is the last week of the 4th Six-Weeks. On top of that it is a short week, Friday is a student and staff holiday. Make sure that you are checking the grade portal.
Spring is getting into full swing and our students are very busy with lots of activities, such as baseball/softball, AG, Powerlifting and Academic UIL. Encourage your students to communicate with their teachers about when they will be absent and how to stay on top of their assignments.
Good Luck to our Might Bulldog Band at Solo/Ensemble contest this weekend.

We are seeing an increase in illness on campus. Please help us limit the spread by keeping students home if they are unwell. Students must be fever-free for 24 hours without fever-reducing medication before returning to school.
Thank you for partnering with us to keep our school healthy and safe.
