6th grade learned about Korean snacks and played jegichagi during their cultural lesson today.

Roscoe’s girls will have a bi-district playoff game on Monday, therefore we can’t play our boys game on Monday. We are trying to get a 5:00 or earlier tip off for the varsity boys only on Tuesday. There will not be a JV boys game due to Roscoe not having enough players.
The Elementary students are loving Art Club. Mrs. Waters is taking students over to the Art Studio and they are getting to work on some great projects. Last week they designed their own T-shirt and this week they made bird houses out of clay.
The Elementary started STEM club today. We had a great time designing our robots.
Powerlifting Meet tomorrow February 10th in Brady. Lifting begins at 4 pm. No known entry fee as of right now. Will update if there is one!
Elementary student council raised money for picnic tables for our outdoor learning area. Teachers are ready for warmer weather to try it out!
Our Forensics class is using gained knowledge of Ridgeology to identify and analyze fingerprint patterns and minutiae.
Our students at Miles Elementary are getting to zoom with future teachers of South Korea. They completed a cultural lesson today. We are thankful to be apart of this great program! Thank you ASU and GNUE University for this great opportunity for our students!

Senior meeting with our counselor, Mrs. Minzenmayer, with a graduation countdown clock and lighting a fire to finish well. Lots of great scholarship opportunities reviewed and shared, as well as, reference letter/resume recommendations with supplies provided, and thank you note reminders. We are so excited for our first grade teacher, Mrs. Noland. She is having a baby girl! Our students made their predictions, and we were able to be apart of her gender reveal.
Updated: JH Boys Red Team Tournament Saturday @ Wall. Boys need to be at JH Locker Room at 7:15 am. Games at 9:00am and 12:30pm.
Tomorrows HS basketball games in Forsan have been moved to Saturday at 6:00 and 7:15pm. It will be varsity only. No JV games. The bus will leave at 3:00pm.
