Miles ISD will have a 10 a.m start time on Feb. 11. The roads have been assessed and there are a few slick areas. Drive cautiously while coming to school.

Miles ISD is monitoring potential winter weather this week, we want our families to be aware of our Inclement Weather Procedures. If a decision is made to either delay or cancel school, Miles ISD will make every effort to inform our community by 5:30 a.m. Families will be notified in the following order and manner:
1) A posting will be made on our district website. www.milesisd.net
2) A posting will be made on our two official MISD social media channels: Miles ISD Facebook page, and the Miles ISD APP Live Feed.
3) News stations will be contacted.
All decisions to either hold, cancel, or delay school will be foremost made with the safety of our students and staff in mind.

The City of Miles is aware of the San Angelo water situation and has taken precautions by stopping all incoming water from that source. The city of Miles went strictly to Wells. All water is treated here in Miles once it gets here, and all regular testing has continued to be compliant. Our Water Superintendent is in communication with TCEQ. We will be updating this post as soon as more information is received.

The City of Miles has been listed in the San Angelo city wide "Do Not Use Water Advisory". Students will be given bottled water for drinking tomorrow and additional hand sanitizing stations will be added throughout the campus. Parents are also encouraged to send bottled water with their child if possible. As an additional precaution bottled water will be used in the cafeteria as well.

Here is the artwork for the Boys Basketball Playoff Shirts. The shirts are red long sleeve tee shirts. The cost is $20 per shirt. Please send all orders to:
