After much contemplation, the JH/HS will be remote with no extra-curriculars the first week back and Elementary will be in-person. Admin will re-evaluate at the end of week one to make a determination for week two.
A few factors that contributed to this decision are our secondary COVID numbers for staff and students have spiked in the last few weeks, elementary numbers have not, and recommendations from our local health authority.
As we return back to school, let’s all do our part to help stop the spread. Face coverings required at all times, please complete daily self-screenings, temperature checks at the door will continue, and frequent hand washing/sanitizing recommended.
JH/HS students will follow their second-semester schedule by logging into each course on Google Classroom DAILY, beginning Tuesday January 5th by 9AM. Teachers will only be available for support during the school day, 7:45-4:00. Any work posted after midnight will be considered late and the student will be counted absent for that class on that day. Classroom codes and a link to an optional daily zoom for extra support will be posted on the app Monday, January 4th.
If quarantined or positive for COVID please email your campus administrators immediately so we can support and plan accordingly.
Due to a rise in cases locally, MISD athletics has cancelled all activities through this Wednesday, 12/30. We are working on alternative practice/game plans and will notify you once finalized. Thank you for your continued understanding, flexibility, and support.
All JV Boys basketball games and practices over the Holiday break have been cancelled. Next practice will Monday January 4th at 12 noon. Be safe and stay healthy.

The 1st and 2nd graders loved silly stringing the principal today! They are the grade levels that donated the most money to Rust Street Ministries. Rust Street has done a lot for our school this year, and we are really grateful for their help and support!

Unbelievable, this is the last week of the first semester. Students, be sure you have completed all missing work, taken care of any fines in the library and/or cafeteria, and please clean out your locker.
