Parents, As we near the end of the school year, please remember to check your student(s) lunch balances. We have several students who currently have a negative balance. For high school students, if you have a negative balance, you will not be able to leave campus during finals even if you are exempt. Any balance left over at the end of the year will roll over into the next school year, can be transferred to another student or we can refund you if you don't have a student returning. You can check their balance on My School Bucks website or app. You will need their student ID. Good morning, Miles ISD is is required to provide safety measures for all entrance to our facilities. Over the past year you have noticed some new features added to the old gym. We have had a door to the gym and one of our new gates damaged, resulting in more money spent on these items. If you need to practice with a team, please call my office or the Athletic Director, otherwise, the doors will remained locked and no student may be in the building without supervision. There is a lot going on next week. We will have our next round of testing. Please check the weekly for days, and subjects. Mrs. Kellermeier is doing one last Algebra 1 review session Monday evening. If your student is testing, please make sure they get as much rest as possible and encourage them to do their best.

The students did great this past week while we were testing. There is no testing this upcoming week, but we will start again on Tuesday 5/2. Please make the most of this week to be ready for Algebra 1, U.S. History (11th), 8th Grade Science & Social Studies, and then 7th/8th Math. We will have a send off for the students going to Regional Track Thursday at 11. Enjoy your weekend.

Parents we have added a JV baseball game this upcoming Friday 4/ 21 against Bangs. It will begin 15 minutes following the varsity game.

We start testing this week. Please check the Weekly for specific grades and days. If your child is testing, please make sure they get a good nights rest and encourage them to do their best. The exam schedule is also attached, but be aware that it is subject to change.

Parents the JV baseball game this Saturday the 15th has been cancelled. We have picked up a DH with Wall on April 24th.

31-Weekly Good luck and safe travels to MHS Tennis as they head to Amarillo for Regionals. Baseball and softball will also have games this week not to mention, that a number of our athletes will be moving on to Area track in Sonora. It will also be the first week of the LAST Six-Weeks. Please stay on top of Student Portal. We are also getting very close to STAAR Test Season, so please remain focused.

PreK and Kindergarten Round-up are on April 10th, starting at 2 pm! If you will be new to the district, you are welcome to come and preregister elementary students only.

This is the last week before report cards. Make sure you are checking the student portal, and asking your teachers to draft you during RISE if you need some help. Thursday is an early release, and Friday is a Holiday.
