Due to inclement weather and unsafe road conditions, Miles ISD is canceling school on Thursday, February 2nd. School will resume Friday, February 3rd, at regular times.
Due to inclement weather and unsafe road conditions, Miles ISD will not have class tomorrow, Wednesday 2/1. Classes will resume Thursday, 2/2, at 10 a.m. Buses will run approximately 2 hours later than their normal time.
Due to the icy road conditions on bridges and overpasses and continued precipitation and freezing temperatures, Miles ISD will remain closed Wednesday, February 1st.
We will have a 10am start on Thursday, February 2nd, and buses will run hours late. Please stay warm and safe!

Miles ISD will release today, January 30th at 1:00pm. School will be canceled for January 31st. We will monitor the weather conditions for Wednesday, February 1st.

We are half-way through the 5th Six-Weeks. It has flown by. Please take a look at your students grades. The Spring will be very busy and we don't want anyone to dig a hole that they can't get out of.

Miles ISD is seeking a candidate to join our cafeteria team. Candidate must be able to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects (i.e. boxes). Hours are 6:30 AM to 2:00 PM. We work the days that the students are here, plus a few more. To apply go to milesisd.net, click on administration, and then on employment opportunities. Click on the support and services application and email Kathy Glass, Kathy.glass@milesisd.net. The successful candidate will have to complete a background check and be finger printed. Pay will depend upon experience in like positions.
